A New Documentary Follows Jean Nouvel as he Traverses the Globe

The newly released short documentary about Jean Nouvel follows the career of the renowned French architect—from his formative years in Paris to his latest project in New York, 53W53. According to Nouvel, the design for the tower was inspired by stark, nearly century-old charcoal drawings of New York and was envisioned as a needle meant to “reveal the beauty of the rectangular buildings around it” by puncturing their squareness.

The open-concept kitchen is becoming a thing of the past. These days, Manhattan’s most stylish kitchens are distinct entities, offering privacy during the preparation of meals. While open-concept kitchens are still a practical solution for smaller homes, some unique options are available for more spacious residences.
